As a child I was subjected to hours of slides provided by my father. He was a photographer during his 20+ career in the Air Force. He took 1000s of images all over the world and brought them home to show us. We poured over many hours of slides and photos. That was my intial introduction to photography.
I have been an artist all my life until I caught the photo bug, I instantly dropped my pen and pencil. I enjoy all forms of photography but moving water is my favorite. I am currently expanding my skills in other areas of photography. I am also upgrading my lenses and other equipment. I joined Better Photo in 5/17/2005 and I have learned much from the people there. I highly recommend it to any aspiring photographer.
